Tone City Heavenly Lake Delay/Reverb Pedal
The Tone City Heavenly Lake combines lush delay and spacious reverb, creating immersive textures for live shows and studio sessions.
Among their lineup, the Tape Machine and Tiny Spring have stood out as compact bestsellers with distinct sonic characters. Inspired by their tone, Tone City pursued new soundscapes—this drive led to the creation of this new pedal. However, it’s much more than just a basic dual-effect pedal.
To start, the original Tape Machine circuitry received a major upgrade and now fits a larger enclosure. New decay and tone controls allow players to fine-tune delay settings with greater precision.
The Echo section, while inspired by the original Tape Machine and classic analog delays, is a fresh design. It delivers up to 1200ms of delay with impressively low noise levels.
Additionally, Tone City integrated a modulation section within the Echo circuit, complete with Rate and Depth knobs. A handy LED indicates modulation speed and depth in real time. This setup enables dreamy, psychedelic tones and deep ambient effects.
For 2025, the reverb has been further refined to better replicate classic spring tank sounds. The delay circuitry also received noise reduction improvements, especially in wet-heavy settings.
