The FoxGear Rats Distortion is based off the classic RAT distortion from the 70s. Instantly get great vintage distortion with this easy to use pedal. There are few tones more utilized in the Rock’n Roll vernacular than that of the Rats. Inspired by over 30 years of vintage distortion tone, the Rats reproduces the sounds beloved by the likes of our pal Doug Aldrich, but in a completely noise-free and transparent circuitry that is respectful of your base tone.

Great Design

The Foxgear pedals have a small design and are easy to connect with top loading jacks. An acrylic faceplate lights up when you turn the pedal on so you’ll see it on the darkest of stages. Foxgear pedals are constructed with non-SMD components in the audio path, with analog design, and high-quality components like Wima capacitors, real Alpha 16mm pots, non-plastic trimmers, and a true bypass circuit that includes Panasonic golden pin relays
