The Hohner Blues Bender harmonica is part of their Enthusiast range. It doesn’t feature the same quality as the German made Hohner models, but it is an inexpensive option for beginners that want to practice.

It features 20 brass reeds, but they have a thinner sound than their higher-end models. The stainless-steel acoustic covers and thick reed plates offer this model some protection from damage, but it’s still not designed to really go the distance like their Professional models. Nevertheless, if you want to learn the basics of how to play the blues harp, the Blues Bender is a good, inexpensive harmonica option.
