The Gordon Smith GS1 Heritage is a distinctive, no-nonsense guitar inspired by the origin of the electric guitar. Its simplicity makes it practical and performance-oriented, without unnecessary frills. It’s easy to play, offering comfort and functionality for any guitarist.
A thick neck profile on the GS1 is an homage to classic guitars. Its thick necks give you something to dig into, making your playing all the more inspired. The mahogany neck is a staple, giving the guitar stability and warmth.
The body uses mahogany, known for its warm, rich tone. Mahogany has been used for a long time as a body timber, and this pays respect to the heritage.
Equipped with a single humbucker pickup, the GS1 Heritage is perfect for anyone wanting to rock out. It excels at high gain, delivering punch and power but cleans up well. It handles both aggressive riffs and softer moments with ease.
Gotoh SD90 machine heads are used for increased tuning stability and a vintage look. A wrapover tailpiece is at the bridge, furthering the vintage aesthetic and feel.
A brass nut enhances all Gordon Smith guitars. Brass improves note clarity and provides sharper attack. It’s also more durable than traditional nuts, lasting longer with heavy use.
