Fender Standard Telecaster

The Fender Standard Telecaster is built to accompany players on their formative musical journeys. It offers approachable playability and inspiring tone, solidifying the legacy that has made Fender an icon of rock & roll. The Tele is a direct descendant of the Esquire, Fender’s first solid-body electric guitar. Launched in 1951, the Telecaster featured a dual pickup layout for unmatched amplified performance. It quickly became a must-have for music makers. The new Standard Series uses Fender Standard pickups for bold, high-output sonic character. It also features a “Modern C”-shaped neck, providing superior comfort for players. This Tele sets the standard for the Fender experience.
