Epiphone Les Paul Special Satin

Epiphone introduces the Les Paul Special Satin, featuring the classic Les Paul profile with a lightweight poplar body. The Les Paul Special Satin E1 uses Epiphone Open-Coil humbuckers. Now in a new range of vintage colours.

The Les Paul Special Satin has a poplar body with a sleek look. The new vintage finishes add classic style. There is no binding on the neck or body. It keeps the classic Les Paul shape and features a fast, comfortable Okoume bolt-on neck. The neck has a 1960’s SlimTaper™ D profile. The fingerboard shows traditional Pearloid “Dot” inlays. It offers a 24.75” scale and a 14” radius. The guitar has 22 medium jumbo frets and a 1 11/16” nut. Below the headstock sits the “bell” shaped truss rod cover.

The Les Paul Special uses Epiphone’s famous open-coil humbuckers. The neck pickup is a warm 650R, and the bridge pickup is a hotter 700T. Controls include a 3-way pickup selector switch, a Master Volume, and a Master Tone control. All are paired with traditional “Black Speed Knobs” pots. The potentiometers are 500K Ω and long-lasting.

Epiphone uses all-metal, rock-solid hardware on its instruments. The Les Paul Special features the legendary Locktone™ Tune-o-matic bridge and a Stopbar tailpiece for easy setup. Tuning stays fast and reliable with Epiphone Premium Covered tuners. The tuners offer a 14:1 ratio for more accurate tuning. They mount on an Epiphone Clipped Ear headstock, which displays the Les Paul Model in gold and the Epiphone silver logo.
