DELAY DYNAMICS.

The MXR Joshua Ambient Echo gives you powerful control over a rich and customizable delay setup. You can easily adjust tempo and echo count using the Delay and Regen controls. Even better, the Division control lets you choose your rhythm subdivisions with a quick twist. Pick from ¼ note, dotted ⅛ note, ⅛ note, triplet ⅛ note, or dual delays. One option uses an ⅛ note paired with a dotted ⅛ note for added depth. Want your echoes to linger after switching off the pedal? Just hit the Trails button. It keeps them fading naturally. Need more movement? The Echo 2 switch adds a second set of echoes at a ¼ note tempo.

You can tweak this further through the advanced settings menu. For precise timing, use the onboard tap tempo via the footswitch. It responds quickly and keeps everything in sync. Alternatively, plug into the CTR jack for off-board tempo control. This expands your real-time performance flexibility. You can even freeze the delay lines at max feedback with an external switch.
