Description

Coda Bow Prodigy 4/4 Carbon Fibre Violin Bow

A good choice for the true beginner, the Coda Bow Prodigy is weighted for stability. As a result, students find the Prodigy easier to control and quickly gain confidence in their playing. Also, parents and teachers hear fewer squeaks and squawks! A vast improvement over comparably priced wooden bows, which tend to present the young player with mechanical difficulties – i.e. warp, twist, uneven camber, over-flexibility – the Prodigy is stiff, straight, meticulously crafted, and easy to play. The advancing player, however, may prefer the Coda Bow NX for its greater agility.
WEIGHT: Approx. 61.0 Grams

Firm Action

Firmer, stable string connection to encourage early exploration of range and articulation.

Center-Tip Balance

Reinforced tip allows for steady, forgiving balance to accommodate coarse motor control and beginning right hand technique.

Lifetime Technology

All high-wear components (including tip plate, tip wedge, and button bearings) are precision made using industry-leading composite materials to ensure a lifetime of worry-free play.

Xebony Frog Solution

An elegant solution to the worlds endangered supply of instrument-grade ebony, Xebony is a proprietary blend of natural fibers and resin that boasts rich luster and natural grain, impressing players and bow makers alike. Stronger and more durable than natural ebony, Xebony offers peace of mind while preserving endangered resources.

Global Bow Design
