1976 Fender Starcaster Semi-Hollow Body electric guitar | Natural Blonde – Serial# 716517
This 1976 Fender Starcaster is 100% original, apart having a new switchcraft output socket fitted – and new strings of course!
The guitar is in absolutely outstanding condition with a beautiful action & no marks on the body, neck or fingerboard. This is as good an example as you could hope to find of this amazing guitar, which is serial # 716517.
It includes the original case, instruction manual, strap and even the original cable!
The Starcaster has a unique headstock, with a black bottom curve. No other production Fender guitar before or since has had the same headstock! Fender’s traditional six-on-a-side tuning pegs adorn this unique design.
It was also unique for a semi-hollow guitar to have an asymmetrical (“offset”) body, a maple fretboard and a bolt-on neck. The Starcaster featured a control configuration consisting of a volume and tone control for each pickup. As well as this, Fender included a master volume control.
