New AiR Sound Source
At the heart of the PX-560 is the AiR (Acoustic Intelligent Resonator) sound source. Faithfully reproducing the sound of a 9-foot concert grand piano, the AiR sound source also incorporates every possible detail within the piano sound. Casio’s Linear Morphing technology ensures the smoothest possible curve in dynamics, from the quietest pianissimo right through to the loudest fortissimo. The Key-Off simulator allows you to control the length of the note decay by the speed at which notes are released.
The new AiR sound source reproduces the resonance created from using the damper pedal naturally through the use of a stereo resonance simulator for all 88 keys. The attention to detail goes so far as to simulate the resonance created by the lifting of the dampers themselves when the pedal is pressed. The resonance system allows players to perform with an unprecedented amount of expressive detail.
Grand Sound System
The chassis has been redesigned not only to provide a more elegant look but also to accommodate a new 8w x 8w speaker system, which delivers the PX-360's remarkable sounds with the richness that they deserve. This speaker system is open to the front but also ported to the back, which provides remarkable sound when the PX-360 is placed against a wall. This also allows it to easily be used in a classroom or other environment where the sound will be projected towards the audience.
Amazing New Sounds
The PX-360 also features newly developed string ensemble sounds. These rich stereo strings sound wonderful by themselves or layered with the PX-360's grand pianos, electric pianos, harpsichord and more. The electric pianos have also been updated providing some dynamic sounds derived from Casio's award winning PX-5S stage piano. The PX-360 provides split and layer capability allowing you to play bass in your left hand and have two layered tones in your right. Duet mode allows the keyboard to be split into two equal ranges, so the student and teacher can use the piano simultaneously. A two track recorder can even record and playback your practice and performances. The optional CS-67 stand puts the PX-360 at the proper height and the optional SP-33 pedal system provides the same 3 pedal functionality as a grand piano.
Full Colour Touch Interface
Navigating the PX560 is a breeze with the new Colour Touch Interface. The 5.3-inch full colour touch screen responds immediately to your touch, incorporating familiar icon styles and gestures such as swipe. The intuitive touch screen ensures every function, from choosing tones and rhythms, to effects and recording are always right at your fingertips.
Tri-Sensor Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard II
The PX-560 utilizes Casio's famous Tri-Sensor Scaled Hammer Action II keyboard. This action features new simulated Ebony and Ivory textured keys for an incredible feel and its three sensors capture the dynamics of a performance with unparalleled speed and accuracy. Casio's proprietary Hammer Response feature takes into consideration the speed at which different sized hammers move inside an acoustic grand piano relative to the velocity the keys are played. This timing nuance provides the ultimate key-to-sound experience that is unmatched by the standard actions of other brands.
Fully Equipped Ready to Perform
Much more than just a piano, the PX-560 also features a huge variety of 650 tones, including strings, guitars, basses, drums, synth tones and more. Many of the sound design elements have been brought across from the award winning PX-5S stage piano into the PX-560, including the Hex Layer sound engine, allowing you to layer up to 6 waveforms within a single tone. On board is also powerful synth editing capabilites, where you can edit, create and store up to 400 of your own user tones.
The 3 assignable knobs, an assignable Modulation Wheel and expression pedal input ensure you are always in complete control of your performance. Combine all of this with the 220 built-in rhythm patterns and automatic accompaniments, the possibilities are endless, covering a wide range of musical genres.
Simulated Ebony and Ivory Feel Keys
The simulated ebony and ivory keys offer the luxurious feel and texture of a grand piano keyboard. The texture allows maximum grip and avoids slipping of the fingers due to moisture.
Designed With Flexability In Mind
The PX-560 is designed with flexibility in mind. When combined with the CS67 stand and SP33 pedal board, it becomes an attractive furniture style digital piano sure to suit any home interior design. Yet the PX560 can be easily taken from home to the stage. Featuring stereo Line Output and Inputs, USB and 5-pin MIDI connections, the PX560 can be easily incorporated into any live performance setup. The 96 Performance Registrations ensure your custom setups are always at your fingertips, ready to recall in an instant.
