For Nuno Bettencourt fans, the Washburn N4 Authentic USA is as close to having Nuno’s actual guitar as you can get! Washburn’s master luthiers have paid impeccable attention to detail in recreating Nuno’s personal axe. They’ve painstakingly replicated every dent, ding, story, and nuance of personality contained in Nuno’s guitar, right down to the two replacement tuners Nuno added and the EVH D-Tuna on the Floyd Rose. Since 1990, when the N4 was first introduced, Nuno has been inseparably associated with Washburn. 

Made in the Washburn USA Custom Shop, the N4 Authentic features an alder body. Nuno chose a Seymour Duncan® ’59 neck pickup and Bill Lawrence® L-500 bridge pick-up to scream out on his baby. Complemented by a Floyd Rose® bridge & locking nut system with a D-Tuna for instant drop from E to D tuning, she’s a shred machine. Exactly as it is on Nuno’s guitar, a newer Gotoh and Grover 18:1 ratio tuner augment the original 4 Gotoh tuners. One of the hallmarks of the N4 is the Stephens Extended Cutaway. This incredible feature allows for unprecedented upper fret access. An ebony fretboard with dot inlays makes for silky smooth comfort and playability. The Buzz Feiten Tuning System allows for perfect musical intonation at every point on the neck. The stripped-down control layout features a 3-way pickup selector and 1 volume control.
