The Player II Modified Stratocaster HSS is a modern guitar designed for today’s players. The neck has a Modern “C” profile with a silky satin urethane finish for smooth playability. Its 9.5” radius fingerboard, made of rosewood or maple, includes rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets. The alder body delivers iconic Fender tone and comes in exciting new finishes.
The Player II Modified humbucker offers articulate, high-output sound. Noiseless™ pickups deliver classic Strat® chime without unwanted noise. A push/pull tone control splits the bridge humbucker for single-coil Strat® tones.
A 2-point tremolo system ensures smooth performance. Short post locking tuners, a TUSQ® nut, and a modern string tree enhance tuning stability. The chamfered tremolo block offers a wider vibrato range for expressive playing.

MODERN “C” NECK PROFILE WITH 9.5“-RADIUS FINGERBOARD AND ROLLED EDGES
This neck is designed for supremely comfortable performance, with a silky-smooth satin back and our Modern “C”-profile. The 9.5”-radius fingerboard facilitates fluid leads and choke free bends, while the hand-rolled fingerboard edges provide a broken-in feel that’s incredibly inviting.
NEW PLAYER II MODIFIED HUMBUCKER AND NOISELESS™ STRAT® PICKUPS
The Player II Modified humbucker is powerful and articulate while the noiseless™ pickups deliver chiming, sparkly Strat® tones. These pickups are perfect for any performance, sound great with gain and give players an expansive range of tonal options.
UPGRADED ELECTRONICS
A push-pull switch on the second tone control splits the humbucker for classic Strat® single-coil bridge tones. The treble bleed circuit retains natural high-end when rolling off the volume, preserving sparkly cleans and chime-y edge-of-breakup tones.
2-POINT SYNCHRONIZED TREMOLO WITH BLOCK STEEL SADDLES AND CHAMFERED TREMOLO BLOCK
A two-point tremolo bridge with 6 block steel saddles provides superior intonation, sustain, tuning stability and ease of adjustment. The upgraded chamfered tremolo block has been modified to enable a wider range of travel compared to a standard tremolo block, allowing players to coax even more expressive, musical vibrato from their instrument.
SHORT POST LOCKING TUNING MACHINES
Short post locking tuning machines provide a sharper, more consistent break angle over the nut for increased sustain and enhanced tuning stability while making string changes fast and easy.
TUSQ® NUT AND MODERN STRING TREE
The Graph Tech® TUSQ® nut provides unparalleled tuning stability, especially with heavy tremolo use, and produces more harmonics in the mid and upper range. The modern string tree provides a smooth travel surface for the strings, preventing hang ups and keeping tuning stable during the most demanding performances.
