The Player II Modified Stratocaster is a classic guitar, thoughtfully updated for today’s musicians. Every detail is built for speed and comfort. First, the neck features a Modern “C” profile with a silky satin urethane finish on the back. It feels smooth and fast. Additionally, you can choose between a 9.5″ radius slab rosewood or a one-piece maple fingerboard. Both have rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets. The alder body delivers classic Fender punch and comes in a variety of exciting new finishes. Next, the Player II Noiseless pickups offer signature Stratocaster chime and sparkle. They also eliminate unwanted noise. For even more tonal options, the push/pull switch on the second tone knob adds the neck pickup to positions 1 and 2. Tuning stability is exceptional, thanks to the 2-point tremolo, short post locking tuners, TUSQ nut, and modern string tree. Moreover, the chamfered tremolo block offers wider travel. This neck is designed for supremely comfortable performance, with a silky-smooth satin back and our Modern “C”-profile. The 9.5”-radius fingerboard facilitates fluid leads and choke free bends, while the hand-rolled fingerboard edges provide a broken-in feel that’s exceptionally inviting.

UPGRADED ELECTRONICS
A push-pull switch on the second tone control activates the neck pickup in switch positions 1 and 2, adding two unique pickup configurations not possible with standard Strat® wiring. The treble bleed circuit retains natural high-end when rolling off the volume control, preserving sparkly cleans and chime-y edge-of-breakup tones.
2-POINT SYNCHRONIZED TREMOLO WITH BLOCK STEEL SADDLES AND CHAMFERED TREMOLO BLOCK
A two-point tremolo bridge with 6 block steel saddles provides superior intonation, sustain, tuning stability and ease of adjustment. The upgraded chamfered tremolo block has been modified to enable a wider range of travel compared to a standard tremolo block, allowing players to coax even more expressive, musical vibrato from their instrument.
SHORT POST LOCKING TUNING MACHINES
Short post locking tuning machines provide a sharper break angle over the nut for enhanced tuning stability while making string changes fast and easy.
TUSQ® NUT AND MODERN STRING TREE
