The top of a guitar is the vital component for generating sound, vibrating as each string is plucked. With solid top guitars, the more this soundboard vibrates, the more this single piece of wood adapts and ‘opens up’. This results in the guitar’s quality of sound improving as it ages.
The Altamira N500 doesn’t stop there though! The luthiers at Altamira push past the boundaries of traditional classical guitar construction & enhance the design of this amazing guitar. How? By adding a carbon fibre rod to the neck, which provides increased stability & durability.
