Description
Cole Clark FL2EC-BLBL Fat Lady Blackwood Acoustic Guitar
The Cole Clark FL2EC-BLBL Fat Lady Blackwood Acoustic Guitar delivers a stunning combination of tonal warmth, bold projection, and eye-catching aesthetics. Australian Blackwood is a very close cousin to Koa and can vary from dark to light in color and straight grained to figured. In the tradition of guitars made from Koa tops, backs and sides in the USA for over 100 years, Cole Clark have introduced a guitar with an Australian Blackwood top, back, sides and headstock but with a Queensland Maple neck, River She Oak fretboard and bridge. All guitars come with the Cole Clark patented 3 Way pickup system. Most models with River She Oak fretboards are made of 100% sustainable timbers. Includes hard case.
Cole Clark steel string acoustic guitars are the only main stream acoustic to use a Spanish heel or integral neck construction. This means the neck is glued to the face along with the sides and the back so the neck is one piece all the way to the sound hole. On other guitars, the body is made then the neck attached, mostly with a bolt or dove tail join. Due to Cole Clark’s method, the sound is unique. Cole Clark also has a carved top and back and uses a ridge system to join the sides to the top and back instead of kerfing.
