It starts with an Oxygen Free copper core which provides for maximum conductivity. The copper expands all the way into the tip, which ensures a rock-solid connection. Then, t after the tip and plug body are placed into a plastic mold where they’re injected with insulating material. The end result achieves an incredibly solid assembly. This protective seal prevents atmospheric attack like corrosion & oxidisation which is a known factor in cable failure and sonic degradation.
