Full size Professional violin from Gliga, finished in a hand rubbed dark antique stain.This violin features highly flamed and naturally aged sycamore maple – employed for the back, neck and ribs – and a close grained Carpatian resonance spruce top. The outline of the instrument’s body is deepened and the plates are precisely graduated. Special attention has been given to the deeply etched and well highlighted scroll.

Gliga “Vasile” Professional Violin

Gliga started to make instruments under his own brand name, Gliga, in 1991, out of his house in Romania.

Today, 20+ years later, his instruments are appreciated by musicians all over the world for their warm sound, beautiful workmanship, and affordability.

Handcrafted in workshops directly supervised by Mr Vasile Gliga. This violin features highly flamed and naturally aged sycamore maple – employed for the back, neck and ribs – and a close grained Carpatian resonance spruce top. The outline of the instrument’s body is deepened and the plates are precisely graduated. Special attention has been given to the deeply etched and well highlighted scroll.
