The Pedaltrain Classic is the refined and enhanced version of their original design. Based on the original PT-1, the model that started it all, the Classic 1 features Pedaltrain’s original four-rail design and traditional rail spacing. However, the Classic 1 has been updated with an open front design (portholes are history) making power supply mounting more flexible and convenient. The elevation has been raised by approximately 1 inch to clear a wider variety of power supplies and switching systems. Classic 1 is available for purchase with either Pedaltrain’s fitted soft case (featuring a heavy-duty metal zipper and reinforced stress points) or Pedaltrain’s professional-grade tour case.

However, the Classic 1 isn’t just a simple re-release of the original design. It comes with several thoughtful upgrades that make it even more user-friendly and adaptable for contemporary setups. One of the key updates is the open-front design, which replaces the traditional porthole system. This design change significantly improves accessibility. This makes it easier to mount and manage power supplies and other equipment under the board. With the open-front layout, users can place their power supplies with greater flexibility, without having to worry about the limitations of port holes or confined spaces.

Another important enhancement is the increase in the board’s elevation, which has been raised by approximately 1 inch. This extra height allows for better clearance for larger or more complex power supplies, as well as switching systems, giving musicians more freedom to choose from a wider range of gear.
